Injured Renault driver Robert Kubica is not writing off 2012 season

Robert Kubica is fully focussed on returning in 2012 despite a statement from Renault saying the injured Polish driver will miss the start of the year.

His manager Daniele Morelli said Renault had misquoted Kubica, who is recovering from a serious rally crash.

Uefa rules out Lyon betting investigation

Uefa's betting fraud detection system has not shown any irregular betting patterns around Lyon's 7-1 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb.

To reach the knockout stages, Lyon needed victory in Croatia, Group D rivals Ajax to lose to Real Madrid, and a seven-goal swing in goal difference.

Bafetimbi Gomis scored four times in the space of 25 minutes in Zagreb for Lyon, while Ajax were beaten 3-0.
